A standing monthly or quarterly cadence for the strategy, product, commercial, and capital decisions that are too consequential, or too sensitive, to work through inside the building alone. Access and judgment, not a project. He advises; the team executes.

Designs and builds the commercial engine itself: the pricing and packaging model, deal mechanics, go-to-market roadmap, partner ecosystem, sales motion, and the first lighthouse deals. Produces the artifacts and the first proof, not just the advice.

The execution layer. Personally originates and helps close the partnerships and deals that change a trajectory.

Embedded Revenue Leader
Owns and runs a new line of revenue end to end: stands it up, leads it, and scopes, identifies and hands off to the permanent leader who eventually takes it over.
THE HUMAN STACK
More work is being handed to AI, and standing up agents is the easy part. What decides outcomes is the judgment, the relationships, and the pattern recognition to know which bets are real. Then the bias to act on them, take the risk, and own the result.

HXV invests selectively, typically at seed or as a co-investment. Often this is in companies it is already operating in or advising, where the capital and the work point at the same outcome. It also backs opportunities that come through trusted, vetted introductions. The value is not only the check.
